Joanna

Pokemon Crystal Version was my first game, so naturally, my first Pokemon fan character will be partially inspired by the

default female character.
Her name is Joanna, and she's the enthusiastic ex-Champion of the Johto region.  She gave it up because she got very bored

sitting around waiting for challengers...plus it was more fun to train her team against the Elite Four over and over.  So

now she wanders around fighting everything and everyone with her unnecessarily strong team.

Her team:

1.Umbreon, Lv. 40
2.Sandslash, Lv. 45, nicknamed Whitney
3.Togetic, Lv. 60
4.Suicine, Lv. 60
5.Quagsire, Lv. 89, nicknamed Morty
6.Typhlosion, Lv. 100

Sandslash is a male, and Quagsire is a female; a mix-up up by six-year-old me, but at this point I'm not switching.  In

canon, Joanna has owned this team since she was ten, and by then her Sandslash and Quagsire only respond to their

nicknames.  Her outfit is inspired by '90s fashion, and she's very excitable and outgoing.  But she's not used to losing,

and doesn't handle it well when she does.  She also isn't used to being turned down for anything, since she uses her ex-

Champion status to get anywhere.
That's a nice way to say she's a really sore loser and she thinks she's pretty privileged.
Also she's best friends with DJ Buena.  She spends a lot of time there.

Her strategy is to essentially crush her opponent's team with sheer power, relying heavily on type match-ups.  However,

she isn't very good in long battles; if a Trainer can hold out for a long battle, they can win.
