TF2-Black Eyes It wasn't rare to wake up in the middle of the night to the shift of weight on the mattress or to the sound of running water. It just meant Soldier was up again.
“Jane?”
The bathroom light was on. She could hear the infrequent patter of water on the porcelain sink as he splashed his face.
“Jane?”
The water stopped running. The light clicked off. Soldier emerged, shoulders hunched slightly. His eyes were bright and shiny, but there was a weird, disconnected quality to them.
Elaine sat up and went over to her boyfriend. “Jane are you o...”

TF2-The Robot It had taken a couple months of tinkering, but he was almost done.
The robotic Soldier loomed overhead, its 'eyes' blank and gray. Engineer looked up at it, a sense of pride filling his chest. He had managed to find a mostly-intact Soldierbot out in Big Rock, and had dragged it into a shed off the main path. He came back for it once the battle was won, dragged it to his truck, and drove back to the base with it hidden under a tarp in the flatbed.
The next couple of months were spent working on the bot secretly. Most of the work was spent in the dead of night, repairing the battle-damaged robot. Engineer would be exhausted theTF2-The Robot by ~Pikalover21
